How to Undo Actions on Your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch in iOS 7

iOS

If you made a mistake when typing or deleting something, there is no need to start from scratch – your iOS device has a very easy-to-use, but somewhat hidden undo feature. Let’s say you written a sentance and accidentally deleted it. Here’s what you do:

  1. Hold your iPhone with one hand.
  2. Gently shake it (yes, this is not a mistake).
  3. Tap on the Undo button.

Pretty simple, right? If you were wondering, ‘shake to undo‘ feature was available since iOS 3, and works the same way in iOS 7. If you prefer video instructions check out the video below, and feel free to subscribe to our YouTube channel.
