Apple yesterday unveiled two new iPhones – the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus. Apple revealed that pre-orders will be starting on September 12. They also mentioned that the prices will start at $199 for the 16GB iPhone 6 ($299 for the 16GB iPhone 6 Plus), as long as you sign a two-year contract with a carrier.
However, some users prefer to buy their iPhones off-contract. If you’re one of them, you’ll be happy about the prices, which are actually lower than last year, when iPhone 5s was introduced (off-contract price for the 16GB iPhone 5s was $699). Here is the full list of prices:
16GB iPhone 6: $649 off-contract or $199 on contract
64GB iPhone 6: $749 off-contract or $299 on contract
128GB iPhone 6: $849 off-contract or $399 on contract
16GB iPhone 6 Plus: $749 off-contract or $299 on contract
64GB iPhone 6 Plus: $849 off-contract or $399 on contract
128GB iPhone 6 Plus: $949 off-contract or $499 on contract
You may notice that there is no 32GB model anymore. Apple has decided to discontinue the 32GB version, making the 64GB model this year’s best buy.
