There have been a lot of rumors lately that suggested Apple might be working on an iPad Pro. According to Digitimes, Apple is planning to released the larger iPad as soon as September.
“Market sources indicated that Apple is likely to release a 12.9-inch model by the end of the third quarter at the earliest.”
It is believed that iPad Pro could feature a 12.9-inch display with a resolution of 2732 x 2048, which translates into 265 pixels per inch.
The website also notes that Apple will remain the biggest tablet provider in 2014, while Samsung will take the number two spot. The two compaines will most likely ship 80-90 million and 60-70 million tablets, respectively.
