During this year’s WWDC keynote, Apple surprised many of its professional users with the completely redesigned version of Mac Pro. Today Apple released the long-awaited Mac through its online store.
You can purchase the quad-core model for $2,999, while a 6-core model starts at $3,999. If you want to go all out and buy the 12-core model with 64GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, and Dual AMD FirePro D700 GPUs with 6GB of RAM each, be prepared to spend the whopping amount of $9,599.
The new Mac Pro can drive three separate displays at 4K resolution (3840 by 2160 pixels) or up to six Thunderbolt displays (2560 by 1440 pixels).
You can order a Mac Pro from Apple’s Online Store, but don’t expect it to be delivered before January next year, as only a handful of people will receive it before the year ends.
