Yesterday, Apple launched new iPhones that come with the long awaited iOS 7. Tim Cook took a little time out of his busy schedule to visit iPhone shoppers at the store in Palo Alto. Not only that, but Apple’s CEO also joined the popular social network Twitter, and shared his experience from the Apple Store.
Visited Retail Stores in Palo Alto today. Seeing so many happy customers reminds us of why we do what we do.— Tim Cook (@tim_cook) September 20, 2013
Since he tweeted for the first time at 3:02 p.m. ET yesterday, he managed to gain over 160,000 followers. Cook became CEO of Apple in 2011, after Steve Jobs stepped down from the position, and he is considered to be a very private person, rarely speaking to reporters and giving interviews.
